Debbie obtained a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science as well as a Master of Education degree from the University of Georgia. After teaching Health and Physical Education for 7 years, she then received her Master of Physical Therapy degree from Winston-Salem State University followed by her transitional Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University. She has worked in a variety of settings in physical therapy including acute care, outpatient, nursing home, and spent many years providing home health services in Rockingham County. Along with her physical therapy career, she frequently teaches tumbling and sport specific skills to children of all ages as well as provides personal training. As a former collegiate gymnast and cheerleader at the University of Georgia, her passion is skill development and functional physical therapy. Other than her strong passion for work, Debbie enjoys traveling with her husband, Dr. John Dabbs and celebrating all seasons of life with her twin boys, Will and Tyler and soon to be daughter-in-law Peyton Beaman. Her twin boys are recent graduates of NC State University, where they played 4 years of college football. Tyler currently works of Arthrex selling orthopedic medical devices and is getting married in August 2022. Will is getting ready to start Medical School at UNC in July 2022.
Dr. Nathan Kelley is a physical therapist with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy obtained from Duke University. In 2019, Nathan obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Sports Science with a concentration in Physiology from UNC at Pembroke. Nathan has special interests in neurological conditions, pediatrics, and sports therapy. Nathan is an Eden native and excited to come back home to live in the community. When Nathan is not working, he enjoys being active, spending time with his wife, Hannah, his daughter Ellie, and being a foster parent to his other kid(s).
Logan is a Rockingham County native from Madison. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May of 2022 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise and Sport Science with a Fitness Professional concentration along with a minor in Coaching Education. Logan plans to attend physical therapy school in 2024. Outside of work, Logan is assistant cheerleading coach at McMichael High School and enjoys cooking, baking, and traveling.
Babbi is a born and raised North Carolina girl! She has worked 20 years in retail and 27 years in County Government. Babbi considers her faith and family the most important aspects of her life. Babbi has been married to Greg since 1981 and has two children who are teachers, her son, Chris and her daughter, Cami. Outside of work, you can find Babbi enjoying time with her 4 grandchildren: Lily, Judah, Addie, and Joe.
Hi, my name is Kaleb, I am a Rockingham County native born and raised in Eden. I am a recent graduate of Rockingham Community college with my associates in science, and will continue my schooling in January to obtain my bachelors of science in Kinesiology at NCCU. I love Jesus, I am family oriented, and when not at work I can be found at the local gym playing basketball or with my friends and family. My goals as a PT Tech is to obtain the necessary knowledge and experience needed to achieve my future goals and Lord willing continue my future schooling.
Faith is currently a student at Rockingham Community College, after getting her associates she plans to transfer to Guilford college to finish out her major. She plans to major in Exercise and Sports science with a minor in coaching. She is expected to graduate in 2027. Outside of work she enjoys working out at CrossFit Echo and spending time with friends and family.
Physical Therapist Assistant
Emma Stanbery went to Surry Community College where she completed her Associates degree to become a Physical Therapist Assistant. She first discovered her love of the career while in high school sports, and following a bad car accident that led to having herself receive Physical Therapy. Her passion involves pediatrics, myofascial release, and sports! When not at Protherapy, you can find her on a farm with her accumulation of farm animals, riding horses around, or doing outdoor activities with her Fiancé Zach and family members.
